I could have gone 1/2 down but didn’t for winter socks. I wanted snakeskin looking and these fit the bill. I hope to cover the black material with long pants, but the zip is handy.
Out of the box, they have a strong chemical smell. They are not leather but hence less expensive.

Fit perfectly!! They are a great compromise to Doc Martens and they are quite stylish. I got them in white and looooove the retro look. I’ve gotten loads of compliments and they are much lighter than a pair of Docs.

I love the style of these boots! They fit true to size but are not the comfiest boots I’ve owned. I’m flat footed so fit is different for me. These feel like they just need a bit of wear. Overall, I’m happy!

Came absurdly large…so large we think the box and/or shoe may have been mislabelled. My niece loved them but she walked right out of them.
Had no choice but to return. She had her heart set on a white Doc Marten styled boot so went with another brand.

These are great. TTS (8.5), and they were super comfortable on a recent big-city, walking-heavy trip. Honestly, I grabbed these on a whim because they were on sale, and ended up returning the other, far more expensive boots I’d also purchased. Several people asked if these are Docs; lol, nope, and they’re way lighter. Only downside: wearing them everyday for a week they got a little smelly. Very pleased!

Need to wear thinner socks than normal, the shoe overall was tighter than expected. Still fits fine though, but in general with boots I like to wear athletic socks.
