I think these are the third pair of loafers I have ever owned in my life and I’m regretting not using this style of shoe more often. I gained weight after having two children and I noticed my foot size increased, but not by much. After a recent 50 pound weight loss I noticed my shoe size went back to my normal size 10. So, these fit true to size for me. Upon arrival, I stepped right into them with bare feet just to try the fit and was happy to see they fit well. After putting on thin dress socks, they still felt comfortable and that eased my mind knowing the socks will prevent possible chafing or blisters. Eventually the leather conformed to my feet as they warmed up from my foot and they felt more comfortable the longer I wore them. The inside soles are padded and support the bridges of my feet. Did I mention these loafers are comfortable? So far, I have walked on cement, hard wood floors and carpeting. These don’t make any sounds from the inside, probably because I wear a dress sock. When walking on my kitchen floor, they aren’t loud, but I can still hear my steps but isn’t a big deal to me. If you want to be more stealth-like, you may want to consider a shoe with a softer rubber bottom as the bottoms of these loafers are very sturdy but in my opinion, perfect for me. I like how the silver and gold buckle detail allows me to wear silver or gold jewelry or both with my outfits. They look more dressy than casual but with the right clothes, these will add just the right amount of class for your business casual style.

I bought these and was absolutely happy, they look so stylish, BUT on the third day of wear (today!) they just ripped in many places! And tge weather is dry and not too cold!!! This is unacceptable!

I buy Sam Edelman shoes frequently and always a true size 10, but the 10 was way too small. They didn’t have a 10.5 so I ordered an 11 and it fit just fine.

I ordered a 9 1/2 which is my usual size. A couple of reviews said they had to order down 1/2 size, that they run large. Should have listened. Returned the 9 1/2 for a 9 and they fit perfectly and are so comfortable. Very happy I ordered them!

Great stylish, structured, loafer. I get compliments every time I wear them. I’m usually an 8.5 and sometimes a 9. I ordered both and the 8.5 is perfect. So I’d say true to size. Comfortable from day one!

I purchased several pair of different brand shoes less than a week ago including this pair in the cognac color. I love them. The Konia color is a patent leather. They are very well-made and I like the metal detail. I came back to order another pair but every single color in my size has sold out in less than a week. I wish now I had ordered other colors but you never really know how a shoe is going to fit. My loss. These shoes fit true to size and have plenty of room for the toes with no pinching whatsoever. A nice soft insole tells me these will be comfortable to walk in

Loved these shoes so much I ordered a 2nd pair. Decided to get a 3rd pair only to discover it was sold out in my size. But I’m really happy with this shoe. It fits true to size. You can go barefoot or wear light socks. It’s reasonably comfy to walk around the city in which I’ve done a few times now. Really nice shoe and wish I’d gotten more while my size was available.

This is a substantial shoe. A bit heavy and much more like a mans shoe, though I like the look. Ordered 11 which was too large and foot slipped. I will try the 10.5. Will keep looking for the perfect loafer. Well made and leather feels thick

True to size! I’d you’re a half size I would maybe recommend going a half size up. They’re so cute and comfy! And they don’t squeeze your feet at all, they are an appropriate width. Thank you Sam Edelman for being less concerned about foot aesthetics and about shaping shoes to the ACTUAL foot.

I have a B width foot but took a chance on these loafers. I love the look, but they are a little wide and feel larger than the 81//2 I ordered. I am keeping them because they also will work with a sock. The leather is smooth, the shoe has a comfortable padded foot bed, and the look is great paired with my pants and jeans.
