I’ve been looking for a chunky wooden platform sandal for a while and these are the ones! They look great on and are comfy from what I can tell wearing them around the house. Still waiting for the weather to warm up to put them to the test outside.

Love my Rosaland platform . It’s very high but super comfortable and the width is perfect for my wide feet. Absolutely no squeeze even with the first wear.

These are extremely tall…taller than they appear in the pictures. The platform is solid wood, so there is zero give when you walk in them, which is expected. What isn’t expected is that the ankle strap (which you need b/c of how tall these are) is so flimsy that it wasn’t sufficient enough to hold my ankle in the shoe when I walked. Every step was like a balancing act to make sure my heel came down on the top of the shoe. Wanted to love them, but no way I could walk across the room in them confidently, particularly if I planned on enjoying a cocktail in them!

These look great and feel great on! Very comfortable and the fit is perfect. I think these are great quality – love them! Sam continues to deliver high quality when so many other shoe brands are not. Always great designs.

There was a missing silver rivet on the side that was missing when I received the shoe.

The good stuff: I love the look of these shoes-they have a great 70’s vibe. For such a high heel they are pretty comfortable. I was able to walk around the office without any problems even though they are about 4 inch heels. I got a compliment from a stranger the first day I wore them. The top straps fit perfectly, not too loose or tight. The bad stuff: As expected, these are really heavy. I went to the market after work and wish I had a change of shoes. There’s a small tab in the back of the straps to keep them in place. Mine moved a bit from the back of the ankle and was rubbing–not fun. Once I moved it back , it stayed in place, but someone might get a blister. I did get a small blister on the top of my top but that was the day I went to the market. So, don’t expect to wear these dancing or to Coachella. But the look of them is so great–I love them. Just stick an extra pair of shoes in your bag–problem solved.

Style and comfort! These are quite high but the platform makes them more comfortable to wear than a traditional heel. I got the nude and they go with just about everything! Super cute in person.
